[INS-20802] Grid Infrastructure Configuration failed in windows 2012 R2 or 2008 R2 (11.02.0.4.0)

Error "[INS-20802] Grid Infrastructure Configuration Failed" while installing the Oracle Standard Edition 2 (11.2.0.4 ) on Windows 2012 Standard R2 or 2008 R2

I got error "[INS-20802] Grid Infrastructure Configuration Failed" during installation of  Oracle Standard Edition 2 (11.2.0.4) on Windows 20128 R2 (64 bit). All prerequisites were checked,  installation got failed by giving  following error screen .

Solution : 

As per my observations and tried to install with multiple ways and multiple times ,  I got this above error. 
There is process like 
1. Use install software only option and install the software. 
2. After successful installation of the grid software, Manually configure the ASM.

In any way that is quite common error and if we got this error we can just skip this error and proceed for the further installation , in this process which I got succeed.and installation went fine .


Note :- Who are installing the grid software there is issue with 11.2.0.4 for windows 2012 R2.
Would suggest please install 11.2.0.3 for windows 2012 R2.


Windows Database Bundle Patch 11.2.0.4.14 or later is required for Windows Server 2012 R2 support.
